Mobile Terms and Conditions
BOTOX® SMS (text) messages are recurring, automated program messages, which may include service updates, treatment reminders, marketing messages, specialty pharmacy card-identifying details, claim status updates, and other messages related to your participation in the program.
Messages will be sent upon enrollment, with any change in claim status, as treatment reminders, and periodically as promotional communications, and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can unsubscribe from these messages at any time by updating your profile preferences or by texting "STOP" to 87757, depending on which stream you have been enrolled in. Assistance can be received by texting "HELP" to 87757 or by calling 1-800-44-BOTOX. If you unsubscribe, you are still able to receive transactional text messages upon request (eg, “Forgot Password”).
There is no fee charged to receive BOTOX® messages. Message and data rates may apply; this can be confirmed with your mobile service provider. Charges are billed and payable to your mobile service provider or deducted from your prepaid account. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a requirement for participation in the BOTOX.com program and you may opt out at any time.
Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your mobile phone number, your carrier's name, and the date, time, and content of your messages. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us, and this information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Notice and Terms of Use. The phone number that you provided will not be sold or otherwise provided to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. Alerts sent via SMS may not be delivered if the mobile phone is not in range of a transmission site, or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even within a coverage area, factors beyond the control of the wireless carrier may interfere with message delivery, including the customer's equipment, terrain, proximity to buildings, foliage, and weather. The wireless carrier does not guarantee that alerts will be delivered and will not be held liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile Terms and Conditions - AbbVie
These terms and conditions apply to individuals who have consented to receive text message communications from AbbVie Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “AbbVie”).
If you have consented, you will receive text messages to the mobile telephone number you have provided at opt-in or registration about AbbVie products and services from AbbVie (the “Program”). These text messages will include the types of communications described in the Program terms, which may include educational and promotional materials, reminders, greetings, and surveys (the “Content”). These text messages may be delivered in a variety of formats (including video).
The number of text messages you receive as part of the Program will vary in frequency, but the text messages will continue on a recurring basis for the length of the Program unless you opt out prior to the Program completion.
By consenting, you authorize AbbVie to deliver or cause to be delivered the Content using automated technology, which may include an automatic telephone dialing system. You are not required to consent to receive the Content as a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.
You can opt out of receiving further texts from the Program by replying “STOP” to any message from the Program. You understand that you will, however, receive a response from AbbVie either confirming receipt of your request or seeking clarification of your request. If you are enrolled in multiple programs from AbbVie, replying “STOP” to a text message from that program will discontinue only texts from that program.
You can text “HELP” in response to any message from the Program to receive help. You can also call 1-800-255-5162 or request online here.
There is no fee charged by AbbVie to receive Program messages, but your mobile service provider’s message and data rates may apply. Please consult your mobile service provider for the terms and conditions under which charges are billed and payable or deducted from your prepaid account.
Data that may be collected from you as part of the Program will be handled in accordance with the governing Privacy Notice provided to you at the time of the collection of your personal data.
AbbVie cannot guarantee the successful delivery of Program messages. Factors beyond the control of AbbVie may impact message delivery, including equipment range and functionality, network capacity, terrain, proximity to buildings, foliage, and weather. Neither AbbVie nor your mobile service provider carrier will be held liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The Program may not be available on all US carriers.
We are able to deliver on most of the major and minor carriers. If you are unsure whether your carrier supports short codes, please contact your wireless provider directly.
